Palm Elastic Braces –

Palm Elastic Braces are replacement shoulder straps for your Palm Roanoke or Loweswater Kayak Spray Skirt.
These braces are similar to those used to hold up trousers in 80s wall street movies, in this case they hold up the waist tunnel of your skirt so you can wear it loose (for a cooler fit in summer) but still keep the tunnel high enough to keep the water out when the spray picks up.
Comprising two elastic straps sewn in an X shape at the back along with 2 length adjustment buckles and 4 clips (sewn in at the back and adjustable at the front). These clips are all plastic and contain no spring working reliably even after prolonged exposure to salty water..
The 2 Tri Glide buckles (one per strap at the front) allow the elastic straps to be adjusted to allow for different torso lengths/ shoulder heights.

The Palm Elastic Braces are able to be fitted to most loose waist kayak skirts (especially those that came with removable braces originally such as the Truefit series from Wilderness Systems or Perception).
