Perception-Dagger Rudder Assembly (Long Pin)

This Perception and Dagger brand Rear Rudder Assembly is used on Perception and Dagger kayaks. It features a longer rudder pin so is backwards compatible with older rudders from these brands and will fit on many other brands that use/used a longer rudder pin (Wwilderness systems, Old Town to name just 2) .

The rudder blade is now plastic so lighter and has a more refined shape than older models but the same approx 53cm length.

This features the newer cable attachment option so has larger holes than older rudders so may need a U Shackle  to attach your cable or washers (to shrink the size of these holes) if you are using older rudder clevis pins designed to fit smaller holes

This is the rear rudder blade with rudder housing and pre threaded rudder raise/lower (uphaul) cord only.

A complete kit is available (with all cables deck fittings and foot controls) as well as individual items that you may require (e.g. rudder mounts/ gudgeons should you need extra items
